the moon's kiss

my pantheist / pagan blog to keep track of my thoughts and journey

i can’t explain how lucky i feel to know  be part of this. There are so many brave and magical and beautiful people here. Your words have filled me heart till its seams are about to rip. Reawakened me to the magic that laces our existence, given me hope that one day i may inspire people as much as they have inspired me. I really can’t even begin to think about where i would be without all you girls, i would not read, i would not write, i would not talk to old photos at night, i would not whisper spells to the moon.  I just want you all know that i am forever indebted to you and your wisdom

Sometimes I muse about how wonderful it would be if I could string all my dreams together into one continuous life, a life consisting of entire days full of imaginary companions and created people.

Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star then your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics; you are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all things that matter for evolution at the start of life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars are kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars exploded so that you could be here today.
